Symptoms

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.5.2 REST connector output can be set to array but it is not saving.  

In testing the new functionality of outputting the REST result to an array. able to check the output to be an array, but after saving it, the Array option appears as unchecked.
Here is an example of the array trying to output:
