E1: 13: Allow Forcing an Assigned PM Work Order to a Future Planned Start Date in PM Backlog (P12071) (Doc ID 2792531.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 15, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Capital Asset Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently it is not possible to manually enter a Schedule Date in the PM Backlog (P12071) as this field is deactivated. If a Maintenance Manager wants to force the Service Type to come due on a specific future date, the only way to do this to enter the desired date in the "Work Order Start Date" processing option in the version of Update PM Schedule (R12807) called from PM Backlog.

The request is to add the ability to manually enter the Schedule Date in the PM Backlog (P12071) so that when the user clicks on the Create WO button, the system will create the assigned Work Order on the manually entered Schedule Date. Once the Work Order is completed, the new 01 status PM would have the last completed statistics (meter or date) from the date that the PM Schedule was closed; the new 01 status PM record would have the Schedule Date blank.
