E1: 41: Inventory Adjustment (P4114) and Inventory Reclassification (P4116) Do Not Update Lot Status Code (LOTS) In Lot Master(P4108/F4108) (Doc ID 2793188.1)

Symptoms

While doing the Inventory Reclassification P4116 and put a lot status code for any of the lots (From or To) in the application, the lot status from Lot Master P4108 will not be updated.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Choose two lots. Make sure they do not have any lot status in Item Availability P41202 and also make sure they do not have any lot status in the Lot master P4108, as well.
  2. Run an Inventory Reclassification P4116 transaction between these two lots. While doing the Inventory Reclassification, put lot status code for any of the lots (From or To) in the application and complete the reclassification.
  3. Check the status of the lot in Item availability (P41202). This was correctly updated with the lot status code entered in the P4116.
  4. Check the same lot in Lot master P4108. The lot status code was not updated. This is incorrect.

Note: The lot status gets updated only in the item location file (F41021).

Workaround: Update the lot status in the application P4108.
