Symptoms

Voucher Match Automation fails with Match Not Found when the tax rate/area (TXA1) on the invoice record, Voucher Transactions - Batch Upload (F0411Z1) does not match the tax rate / area on the purchase order detail (F4311) and purchase order receipt (F43121). The tax rate on the F0411Z1 is the same total tax as the tax rate on the purchase order detail and purchase order receipt.

Steps to Replicate

  1. In Tax Rate/Areas (P4008) setup two tax rates DEN3 and DEN4 with a total tax of 8.1%
  2. In Purchase Order Entry (P4310) create two purchase orders with tax explanation code S and tax rate/area DEN3.
  3. Receive both purchase orders in full in PO Receipts (P4312).
  4. In Batch Voucher Entry (P0411Z1 ZJDE0003) create a voucher/invoice record for the first purchase order receipt to match the amount. Indicate tax rate/area DEN3 and tax explanation code S.
  5. Run Voucher Match Automation Driver UBE (R4304010) calling R4304016 in final mode data selecting on EDI batch number to select only the newly created F0411Z1 record. Note the UBE finishes with Match Successful. The PV is created.
  6. In Batch Voucher Entry (P0411Z1 ZJDE0003) create a voucher/invoice record for the second purchase order receipt to match the amount. Indicate tax rate/area DEN4 and tax explanation code S.
  7. Run Voucher Match Automation Driver UBE (R4304010) calling R4304016 in final mode data selecting on EDI batch number to select only the newly created F0411Z1 record. Note the UBE finishes with Match Not Found.
  8. The same results are seen using all automation rules 01 - 06 running R4304020 and R4304021.
  9. The same results are seen using JD Edwards taxes and using Vertex.
