Symptoms

While entering information in Unedited Asset Master Transactions Revision (P1201Z1), if the user enters an invalid value in the Parent Number field, upon clicking OK, the system will correctly display the following error:

Asset Number Invalid - Input
Error ID 0626

However, once the field is updated with a correct Asset Number (or Unit/Serial Number) and the user saves the record, the system will create the inbound record (F1201Z1) with the Transaction Type field (TYTN) blank.

Steps:
1. Add an inbound record in Work with Unedited Asset Master Transactions (P1201Z1).
2. In the Parent Number field, enter a value that is not in the Asset Master.
3. Click OK; notice that the system displays Error 0626.
4. Enter a correct value in the Parent Number field and click OK.
5. Re-inquire on the batch number in Work with Unedited Asset Master Transactions (P1201Z1, form W1201Z1A). Notice that the system created the record with the Transaction Type blank.

This will cause the Asset Master Inbound Processor (R1201Z1I) to end in error.
