E1: UPG: Installation Workbench for a Traditional Upgrade Is Failing During the Initial Tasks (Doc ID 2806257.1)

Symptoms

The Installation Workbench for a traditional upgrade fails as soon as it is started during the initial tasks, following the below actions:

  1. Login on Deployment Server in JDEPLAN;
  2. Launch Installation Workbench;
  3. Installation Workbench fails immediately

No errors are reported during the plan validation and in the Plan Validation output.

In jde.log created by the Deployment server, the following error is reported:

If the Workbench is deleted and recreated, the user will not be prompted for the System data source parameters.
