E1: 13R: Request Import Resource Assignments across Work Orders and Operations (P48331) (Doc ID 2818686.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 11, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Resource Assignments - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, the fields, work order number and operational sequence, are not enabled for entry in the P48331 Resource Assignment header or grid detail. Also, these fields, work order number and operational sequence, are not available as columns in the import grid.

The fields, resource, assigned hours, and start and finish dates, are available in the import grid, as are competency type and competency code. This is per existing design.

The business requirement is for the ability to load the resource assignment with the work order number, operational sequence, resource, assigned hours, and start and finish dates.

To implement this requested change, the header fields, such as Business Unit (MCU), OP Sequence, and Work Order Number would need to be enabled in the P48331 W48331B data entry grid and need to be included in the Excel Import Grid. Currently, the fields, work order number and operational sequence, are not enabled for entry in the P48331 header or in grid detail or available in the Import from Excel grid.
