E1: 12: Fixed Asset Repost Creates Incorrect Units Records in the Asset Account Balances Table (F1202/R12910) (Doc ID 2825322.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 25, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running the Fixed Asset Repost (R12910), the report creates incorrect records for AU ledger and other tax ledgers (e.g. DU) in the Asset Account Balances table (F1202) even when there are no corresponding Units in the Account Ledger (F0911).

Steps:

  1. From Work With Assets (P1204), create a new Asset.
  2. In Standard Voucher Entry (P0411), create a transaction for the Cost account.
  3. Post the above batch in G/A and Fixed Assets.
  4. Run User Defined Depreciation (R12855) for a year. Post all resulting G/L batches.
  5. Using a database utility, clear F1202 records for the Asset.
  6. Run Fixed Asset Repost (R12910).
  7. Verify F1202 has corrupted AU and DU records.
