E1: 43: Real Time Event (RTE) not Triggered After Changes in Existing Purchase Order Using PO Revision (P4310) Application With Approval Processing Set Up in Processing Options (Doc ID 2831661.1)

Symptoms

When user make changes in existing purchase order using a version of P4310 with Approval Process setup; Real Time Event (RTE) is not triggered.

Steps:

  1. P40204 - Order Activity Rules – This is the status when RTE is triggered only
  2. Look at P43XPI processing options
  3. P90701A - Event Details
  4. P90701A - RTPOOUT - Row Exit to Event Details - Make sure to have:
    Single Event  Event Description         DataStructure  Description
    RTPODIST      PO Multiple Accounts    D4302470C     Purchase Order Multiple Account
    RTPODTL       Purchase Order Detail   D4302470B     Purchase Order Detail
    RTPOHDR      Purchase Order Header D4302470A     Purchase Order Header
  5. Using P4310, simply create a purchase order for item which will advance status to 230/280 because customer has approval processing turned on and the order will be place under approval limit (PO # 341088)
  6. Check F90710 Table – No event recorded
  7. Run R43500 – Print Purchase Order – See that at this time, order status is at 280/300
  8. Check F90710 Table – now, events have been recorded meaning RTE triggered
  9. P4310 – Go back to purchase order detail and change Qty from “2”to “3”. Save it.
  10. Check F90710 Table – No event recorded
