Symptoms
The Batch Reprice for Procurement application (R45620) does not update costs for a Grower harvest if the data selection is set with the Contract ID form the Receiver table (F43121.CONTRTID). It works correctly when using the Order number (DOCO) from the purchase order details table, F4311 for the data selection.
Steps:
- Locate or set up a harvest within the Grower module. The item in the harvest can have a base cost (F4105) or be configured with an ‘Override Price’ within the harvest – it will be later overridden by an advanced pricing adjustment
- Add a new Receipt (type 6) adjustment and details using the P4071/P4072. The Override Price should be selected in the P4071. Add the adjustment to a schedule.
- Associate the advanced pricing schedule to the harvest. Configure a Weigh Tag Receipt Operation for this harvest. Use the P31B94 (Search for Operations) to locate the operation; select it and set the status to Closed. This creates an OP order, receives it, and applies the pricing adjustment to the harvest, if the P4312 program is configured correctly.
- Verify that the price adjustment was applied, using the ‘View Receipts’ option in the Weigh Tag Receipt form (P40G30). The Price History will be shown.
- Change the ‘Factor Value Numeric’ number in the adjustment using the P4072. Execute the R45620 program, firstly over the F4311.DOCO as the data selection; confirm that the new cost is reflected by again using the ‘View Receipts’ option.
- Change the adjustment Factor Value Numeric a second time; run the R45620 over the Contract ID value (held in F43121) in the data selection; observe that the cost is not updated and the PDF shows No Data Selected.
