E1: GRID: Import on Grid Not Respecting Blank Values After Tools Release 9.2.6.2 (Doc ID 2850462.1)

Symptoms

After upgrade to Tools Release 9.2.6.2 when importing a column on the grid with blanks, the imported data ignores the blank values as shown below.

Steps to duplicate:

  1. Fast path to P4220
  2. Click on the plus sign to ADD
  3. On the next screen Enter a valid item number like 220
  4. Enter a valid Branch/plant like M30
  5. Move the cursor to the first parameter on the grid (serial number 1)
  6. Copy (CTRL C) from the excel sheet
  7. Paste on the GRID (CTRL V)
  8. Notice how the blank record is ignored and values move up a row.
