E1: 07: Time Entry Overtime is Incorrectly Calculated Using Regular Rate instead of Union Rate (P051121) (Doc ID 2853433.1)

Last updated on MAY 17, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Override Rate for time card entry is incorrectly using the Pay Type Multiplier, ie:(1.5) times the Hourly Rate (50.00) = 75 when the Master Business Function (MBF) (P050002A) Processing Option is set to use the Regular Overtime rate from the Union Rates Table – F069126.

Steps To Duplicate:

  1. Set Processing Option in (MBF) (P050002A) being used to use the Regular Overtime rate from the Union Rates Table (F069126).
  2. Set up Union in P059121 (F069126) for specific Union and Job Type with Hourly Rate and Regular Overtime.
  3. Add time card (P051121) for the Employee with Union Code and Job Type using Overtime Pay Type (i.e. 100) with Pay Type Multiplier = 1.5 and tab to the next line.
  4. See that the Override Rate in this record (P051121) is NOT using Regular Overtime rate from the Union Rates Table.
