E1: 07: Time Entry Overtime is Incorrectly Calculated Using Regular Rate instead of Union Rate (P051121) (Doc ID 2853433.1)

Last updated on APRIL 11, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Override Rate for time card entry is incorrectly using the Pay Type Multiplier, ie:(1.5) times the Hourly Rate (50.00) = 75 when the MBF (P050002A) Processing Option is set to use the Regular Overtime rate from the Union Rates Table – F069126.

Steps:

1. Set Processing Option in MBF (P050002A) being used to use the Regular Overtime rate from the Union Rates Table – F069126.
2. Set up Union in P059121 (F069126) for specific Union and Job Type with Hourly Rate and Regular Overtime.
3. Add time card (P051121) for EE with Union Code and Job Type using Overtime Pay Type (ie:100) with Pay Type Multiplier = 1.5 and tab to the next line.
4. See that the Override Rate in this record (P051121) is NOT using Regular Overtime rate from the Union Rates Table.
