Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The F1201 (Fixed Asset Master) and F1217 (Equipment Master Extensions) file should be in sync when the Responsible Business Unit (MCU) is changed using the Fixed Asset Transfer Program - R12108.
Steps:
1. Find an asset in the F1217 (Equipment Master Extensions) using the Databrowser that has the MCU (Business Unit) field populated
2. Setup the processing options on the R12108 (Fixed Asset Transfer Program) to transfer the asset to a different Responsible Business Unit than listed in the MCU (Business Unit) field within the F1217.
3. Transfer the Asset using the R12108 (Fixed Asset Transfer Program).
4. View the F1201 (Fixed Asset Master) and F1217's (Equipment Master Extension) MCU (Business Unit) field using the Databrowser. The F1201 was updated but the F1217 (Equipment Master Extension) has not changed or not changed to the Responsible Business Unit as listed in the Processing Options of the R12108.
The system should keep the MCU (Business Unit) field in sync between the F1201 (Fixed Asset Master) and F1217 (Equipment Master Extensions) file.
