Last updated on AUGUST 02, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When tabbing on a grid the cursor moves across all available columns until reaches the last one. When a personal form exist the behavior is different.
Tab on grid moves across fields until reaches the last column display on screen instead.

Steps to duplicate

  1. Fast Path to P4210
  2. Put the cursor on the first column on the grid and use the tab key to move from column to column. Once the cursor is on the last column displayed on screen the side scroll bar starts moving to the right to show the selected column while tabbing (that is the proper behavior)
  3. Create a Personal Form for P4210 and save it.
  4. Put the cursor on the first column on the grid and use the tab key to move from column to column. You will notice that each tab selects a new column on the grid until it reaches the last column displayed on screen.

After tabbing out from the last column on screen, the focus on a column is lost.
