Symptoms

Record Reservation functionality is NOT working with Print Pick Slips (R42520). A user can have an order open for revision and another user can update that order with Print Pick Slips (R42520) before the first user is finished updating it.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Sign In to first User ID
  2. Bring Up Customer Service Inquiry (P4210) as first user.
  3. Sign In to second User ID.
  4. Go into Batch Versions and bring up R42520 (Pick Slip) as second user.
  5. Return to first User ID and create a 5 line sales order as first user. Save the order.
    1. Reinquire and Row Exit to Sales Detail Revision.
    2. Leave the Revision Screen Open.
  6. Check Record Reservations (P00095) and verify the record is reserved by the first user.
  7. Return second User ID and run Pick Slip Print (R42520) while the first user has the order open for revision.
  8. Return to first User ID. On Record Reservation (P00095) click Find.
    1. The record reservation was cleared.
  9. Return to the open sales detail revision screen and save the order.
  10. Reinquire on the order.
    1. Status was 520/540. Click Find.
    2. Pick Slip (R42520) ran and updated the order.
    3. Status is now 540/560. Record reservation did not work.
    4. Second user updated the order while the first user was in the middle of revising it.
