Symptoms

A 9.2.x tools release EnterpriseOne setup has been installed manually (i.e. not using One-click Provisioning) on virtual machines provisioned on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI).

After running the installation plan, the login in deployment server fails with security server turned on and the following error is displayed:

Note: The location of the jdedebug.log can be found in the parameter DebugFile under section [DEBUG] of the deployment server jde.ini

Steps

  1. Configure the below parameter in the [SECURITY] section of the deployment server jde.ini (located in C:\Windows).
    SecurityServer=<Security Server Name>
  2. Click on Solution Explorer icon.
  3. Enter the credentials..
  4. Click Sign in.


The same issue can also happen in the fat client.

Changes

 A new EnterpriseOne setup was installed on virtual machines provisioned on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
