Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Employee termination workflow is setting the Pay Stop Date when an employee is terminated and the Pay Status is set to 9 (last check). The workflow is setting the Pay Stop Date and it prevents the employee from being pulled into the payroll, as the pay stop date the workflow sets falls outside of the payroll parameters.  Requesting that if the Pay Status is set to 9 (last check) the workflow TERMUPDATE does not set the Pay Stop Date

Steps:
1. From P98800 on a fat-client in P98800 set active minimally for TERMEMP01, TERMEMP03, and TEMPEMP05.
2. In P0801 choose an employee, in P0801EMP set Pay Status to 9, set Termination Date, but do not populate the Date Pay Stops. Click OK. Click OK at workflow pop-up.
3. In P0801 choose an employee, and verify in P0801EMP that the workflow has set the Pay Stop Date. If this date is outside of the payroll parameters the employee is not pulled into a payroll.
