Symptoms

When creating a sales order with Brazilian Localization active, user profile country code set to "BR", if using the P42101 Power Form, after user clicks Submit and Close button to save the order, Brazilian Additional Info (P4210BR) screen is not displayed if there is a warning during SO entry. Even though the P4210BR is not called, sales order data for localization tables are saved (F76421, F76422, F76B4201, and F76B4210) just fine. If there is no warning message, P4210BR form will be correctly displayed.

SETUP:

  1. User profile has Country Code set to “BR”
  2. Create new version of P42101 (ie FGB)
  3. Create new version of P4210 (ie Version FGB) to be called by P42101 – It will display warning if item has no stock availability
  4. Create new version of P4210BR, same version of P4210

STEPS:

  1. P4210 – Create a sales order using P42101 previously created. Populate Sold To, Customer # and Branch Plant. Click Save and Continue button.
  2. P42101 – In the detail screen, enter quantity and item number, one that does not have stock availability.
  3. Move cursor to the next line and see, the warning message “Order Quantity Exceed What’s Available”.
  4. Click Submit and Close button.
  5. See that system returns to P42101 screen instead to display P4210BR form.
