Symptoms

PRP ends in error with memory violation, potentially with following error written to the JDEDebug.log:

EventRule : Business Function MRPMultiplePlantLoadAndPlan at line 97 for Event 13 in Section Read Item Branch Records has caused a memory violation

Steps:

  1. Create P41026 ETO Project Planning Items, Stock Type G Manufactured Item and Stock Type H line type SC Project purchased items.
  2. Create Parent Item P3002 Bill of Material and P3003 Standard Routing
  3. Create a P31P001 ETO Project with Shippable Work Order Task
  4. Run R3482/R3483 using Project Requirements Planning (PRP) logic enabled, capturing the UBE logs, level 6.
  5. Review submitted Jobs and note UBE ends in error or never completes, needing to be terminated manually.
  6. Review the logs for errors such as EventRule : Business Function MRPMultiplePlantLoadAndPlan at line 97 for Event 13 in Section Read Item Branch Records has caused a memory violation.
