Symptoms

CafeOne layout no longer functions in Tools Release 9.2.6.4 with URL content using dynamic linking.

Steps to duplicate issue:

  1. On the web client, run Address Book application by entering P01012|ZJDE0001 in fast path.

  2. Select the Display Address checkbox on Work With Addresses form.

  3. Create a CafeOne layout with a valid URL content.  (NOTE: Once this CafeOne layout is created, it can no longer be edited. When user click on the Info icon, it just hangs)

  4. When testing the CafeOne layout, after user select a grid row in the parent form, user see a blue processing bar in the child form and it just hangs.



  5. The following Uncaught DOMException errors are seen in the browser console.



  6. If user click on the Home icon under Open Applications and then click back to the P01012 application, the correct address is shown in the CafeOne layout embedded child form.



  7. If user tries to edit the CafeOne layout by clicking on the Info (i) icon, there is no response and the Uncaught DOMException errors are seen in the browser console.
