E1: 31B: Operation/Lot Trace Track - R31B60 or Operation Trace/Track - P31B60 Crash with a Large Number of Operations on a Single Vessel (Doc ID 2898119.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Blend Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When doing a Trace Track (R31B60/P31B60), the system will crash for more than 600 Operations on a single vessel.

The applications P31B60 & R31B60 end into error as there are a large number of operations (more than 600) linked to one vessel simultaneously. The recursion to get to the most initial before lot for the vessel exceeds the stack memory limits and the web exception happens. More than 600 operations (additive) were created simultaneously to capture the accumulated lot additive information for a bulk wine entered into the system. The current system design does not accommodate this use case.

Error:  SELECT APPLICATION FAILURE HEADER LABEL" error message and ending with "WEB CLIENT EXCEPTION

Steps:

  1.  Using the Trace/Track Interactive application P31B60
  2. Inquire on the Op Number/Vessel Number
  3. Within 20 seconds, the user gets a Web Exception Error
