E1: 32: Dynamic Configurator Cross Segment Editing Rules (P3292) Using *VALUES Are Not Being Resolved Correctly During Sales Order Entry in the Configured Item Revisions P3210 (Doc ID 2900147.1)

Last updated on JULY 03, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When creating a configured sales order using dynamic cross segment editing rules with *VALUES the configured item revisions (P3210) segments are not showing the same values as are in the cross segment editing rules *VALUES for the rule being resolved.

It is expected to have all dynamic configurations using *VALUES from the cross segment editing rules setup to show the valid values when selecting in the P3210.

Steps:

  1. Create a configured parent item (P4101/P41026).
  2. Create 3 configured item segments using dynamic configurator (P3291).
    • Segment 10 Required using UDC 56/DW
    • Segment 60 Required using UDC 56/WN
    • Segment 70 Optional using UDC 56/WL
  3. Setup 8 conditional cross segment editing rules using *VALUES for the THEN statement with selected options from the UDC values (P3293).
  4. Enter a configured sales order (P4210).
  5. In the configured item revisions screen P3210 after selecting the required values to meet one of the conditional rules and make the last segment required the Values are not bringing in the correct options.
