E1: 34: Message Summary (P3401) Does not Clear Error ID 1838 - No Records Selected (Doc ID 2904009.1)

After initially entering filter information in Message Summary (P3401) where no messages exist, the system correctly displays the following error:

No Records Selected
Error ID 1838

However,  if information is changed for filter records that do have messages, the system will not clear the error. The user must exit the application and inquire on the filters again so that the system populates the grid.

1. Access Work with Message Summary (P3401); enter a valid branch and click on the find button. The system will display all messages related to that branch as expected.
2. Enter a value in the Planning Family field that does not have any messages; click find and notice that the system correctly displays the No Records Selected error.
3. Clear the Planning Family field and click find again; notice that the system does not clear the hard error to display the grid information.



 The issue appears to have started upon upgrading to a Tools Release of or higher.
