Symptoms

For a specific developer, when going into Data Dictionary Overrides in Form Design Aid (FDA), part of the action toolbar is missing. The developer is unable to see buttons like the OK, Cancel, Display Errors, About EnterpriseOne, buttons.




This issue follows this developer on whatever development client he logs into. However, anyone else can log into the same development client and its functioning correctly. All other users see the full toolbar buttons as follows:



Steps to duplicate:

  1. Developer User signs on to the development fat client
  2. Enter OMW in fast path
  3. Highlight on an Interactive Application in an OMW project and click on the Design Button
  4. On Design Tools tab, click on the Start Form Design Aid button
  5. Double click on a Edit Field control to launch the Edit Properties window
  6. In Edit Properties window, select Overrides tab
  7. Click on the Data Dictionary Overrides button
  8. On the Data Dictionary Overrides window, user is unable to see the OK, Cancel, Display Errors and About EnterpriseOne buttons on the toolbar
