E1: 32: P3292 Cross Segment Editing Rules with Multi Then Logic Does Not Highlight Error Segment During Order Entry (Doc ID 2904897.1)

Symptoms

Cross Segment Editing Rule Issue:

For cross segment editing rules, if a user defines multi-line THEN logic statement, during order entry, cross-segment editing rules process, the last THEN statement will override the segment invalid flag of the previous THEN statement. The results is that the system does not highlights the segment in the grid that has an error state.


Steps:

  1. P3291- Setup 2 Configured Items Required Segments
      10 = A (Default)
      20 = 20
  2. P3293 - Setup any simple P Rule
  3. P3292 - Setup Configured Item Cross Segment Editing Rules
      I 10 EQ B
      * 20 GT 20
      * 20 LE 50
  4. P4210 - Create a Configured Sales Order for the Item
  5. Enter Answer “B” for segment 10 and click Validate Configuration, Message Center show a error message for cross segment rules, but segment 20 is not highlighted in red.
