E1: 12: Error “JAS_MSG317: Duplicate key not allowed” Displayed when Adding a New Depreciation Rule (P12851) (Doc ID 2909911.1)

Symptoms

When adding a new depreciation rule, the system displays error “JAS_MSG317: Duplicate key not allowed. Please correct the duplicate key field”.

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. P12851: Click Add to enter a new Depreciation Rule.
  2. Populate the fields Depreciation Method (ADM), Life Months (ADLM), Depreciation Information (ITAC), Computation Method (DIR1), Date From (DTFR) and Start Effective Date (EFTB).
  3. Click OK to save the record. A new window with error message “JAS_MSG317: Duplicate key not allowed.” is shown.
