E1: SVM: Rest API for Iniconfig Retrieves an Inconsistent Response in the Security Section (Doc ID 2911068.1)

Symptoms

When the user makes a REST API call to iniconfig endpoint for the security section with Tools Release 9.2.7.x, an inconsistent response is received preventing the API program from getting all the security settings from jde.ini in a single call. This can result in incomplete information received as follows:


Steps to reproduce:

  1. Authenticate to server manager to obtain a token by using the following endpoint http://<server>:<port>/manage/mgmtrestservice/authenticate (Refer to our KM doc 2222019.1 - Authentication section).
  2. Once the token is obtained, get the security section for iniconfig using the following endpoint https://<server>:<port>/manage/mgmtrestservice/iniconfig?instanceName=<instance>&sectionName=SECURITY
  3. Response is returning only the instanceName or an inconsistent response.
