E1: UBE : SVM: Health Check Execution from Enterprise Server Instance in Server Manager Executes/Runs a UBE on Server, Despite ALL Job Queues being On-Hold / Disabled / Inactive (Doc ID 2911718.1)

Symptoms

When running a Health Check task from an Enterprise Server managed instance from within JDE server manager, a test UBE is executed /submitted on that Enterprise Server, even though administrator has inactivated /disabled all job queues from "Work with Job Queues' P986130 application.

JDE administrators disable all the job queues from P986130 as a general practice when doing maintenance activities, so that no user can submit any batch job or UBE on the server. If no job queue is active (all queues disabled) then any UBE submitted from JDE client should go to "Waiting -W" status and should stay in this status until job queue is made active again.
However, performing a health check from server manager bypasses this job queue validation and the UBE executes on server and goes to " Done-D" status instead of staying in "Waiting-W" status .
Running the health check from HTML server managed instance puts the UBE job in waiting-W status .

This behavior can be observed using below steps :

  1. Disable all Job Queues
    1. Login to JDE
    2. Enter P986130 in Fastpath
    3. Press find button
    4. Select each Job queue that is in Active status  and take row exit "Change Status" to change the status to Inactive. Padlock or Job Queue Status column in grid indicates Inactive status
