Last updated on MAY 08, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After updating to Tools Release 9.2.6.4, subledger information (subledger type, subledger and subledger description) does not auto populate when importing to the grid using copy/paste and the Account Number (ANI) is in Work Order Subledger format (\Work Order Number.Object Account). This seems to occur when blank columns are copied into the grid.

Steps:

  1. Fast path to P0911|ZJDE0003, Journal Entries Debit/Credit Format
  2. Click on the plus sign to ADD
  3. Complete header fields Doc Type (JE) and Explanation (Import W/O.Object)
  4. Copy (CTRL C) the data from the excel spreadsheet
  5. Move the cursor to the first parameter on the grid (Account Number)
  6. Paste in the Grid (CTRL V)
  7. Note the Subledger information: Subledger Type, Subledger and Subledger Description do not auto populate

Comparatively:

  1. Fast path to P0911/ZJDE0003, Journal Entries Debit/Credit Format
  2. Click on the plus sign to ADD
  3. Complete header fields Doc Type (JE) and Explanation (Import W/O.Object)
  4. Copy (CTRL C) only the Account Number (\WO#.Obj) and Amounts in the excel spreadsheet
  5. Move the cursor to the first parameter on the grid (Account Number)
  6. Paste in the Grid (CTRL V)
  7. Note the Subledger information: Subledger Type, Subledger and Subledger Description does auto populate
