Symptoms

After installing Tools 9.2.7 and configuring authenticated SMTP messaging, emails are not sent anymore.

Following error is seen in the jde.log:

 STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Setup SMTP Authentication

JDE.ini

[JDEMAIL]SMTPAuthEnable=true
SMTPConnectionType=STARTTLS
SMTPUsername=SMTP_USER


2. Run an UBE and verify the email completion if received.

Changes

 Upgrade to 9.2.7 and enable SMTP authentication.
