Symptoms

When setting up suppliers in Supplier Self Service, there is not a way to secure specific users (suppliers) from the pencil icon in the P43SPLET (Configurable SRM Portlet). Suppliers need access to this application to review alerts, but the pencil icon is used to access processing options (Portlet Preferences) to determine what alerts should be displayed. This should be setup by the customer and not the supplier. Is there a way to prevent users from accessing the pencil icon in the P43SPLET?
