E1: 77: Canadian Federal CA Taxable And Excludable Amounts Are Incorrect During Payroll Processing, P07210, When Using Regular Pay and Non-Taxable Pay Types (Doc ID 2923607.1)

Symptoms

As of 2023, Federal CA Taxable and Excludable are not reducing by the full amount of the non-taxable pay during during Payroll Processing, P07210.    The Federal Tax Types, *CB, CC, CD and CE, are correct.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. In P051121, Time Entry, enter a time card for an hourly employee with a regular pay type and non-taxable pay type.  (For this example, non-taxable pay type amount is 250.00).
  2. Run Payroll, P07210, for this hourly employee.
  3. From the Work With Payroll Cycle Workbench, P07210, select the Payroll ID and Row Exit to Payment Review. 
  4. From Payment Review, P07350, then Row Exit to Tax Detail, P07353.
  5. Review the Tax Detail and note Federal CA Taxable and Excludable amounts are not reduced by the total non-taxable pay.
