Symptoms
As of 2023, Federal CA Taxable and Excludable are not reducing by the full amount of the non-taxable pay during during Payroll Processing, P07210. The Federal Tax Types, *CB, CC, CD and CE, are correct.
Steps to Reproduce:
- In P051121, Time Entry, enter a time card for an hourly employee with a regular pay type and non-taxable pay type. (For this example, non-taxable pay type amount is 250.00).
- Run Payroll, P07210, for this hourly employee.
- From the Work With Payroll Cycle Workbench, P07210, select the Payroll ID and Row Exit to Payment Review.
- From Payment Review, P07350, then Row Exit to Tax Detail, P07353.
- Review the Tax Detail and note Federal CA Taxable and Excludable amounts are not reduced by the total non-taxable pay.
