Symptoms

When attempting to post a Journal Entry to Fixed Assets in the Revise Unposted Entries (P12102) application, the system displays Error 0626: “Asset Number Invalid – Input”. 

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. Revise Unposted Entries (P12102): Select a Journal Entry that requires posting to Fixed Assets by selecting “Post” from the Row Exit.
  2. Error ID 0626: “Asset Number Invalid – Input” is displayed.
