E1: 43: Display Of Decimals In The Details Screen Of Mobile PO Approval M43083 For JDE (PWA V6) (Doc ID 2926834.1)

Last updated on MARCH 16, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The customer has encountered an issue with display of decimals in the Details screen of Mobile PO Approval for JDE (PWA V6)
It was noticed that the decimals are not displayed for two out of three fields of the DETAIL SCREEN of Purchase Order.
In the DETAIL screen instead, only QUANTITY has decimals (3, correct), but UNIT PRICE and TOTALE PRICE have no decimals and are mathematically rounded to the higher or lower integer.
This happens for both DOMESTIC (in currency EUR) and FOREIGN Purchase Orders (in currency different from EUR).
We do not know if there is a possibility to SET-UP decimals to be displayed in MOBILE PO APP. The expectation is to have decimals as per expectations in fields described.

Steps:

  1. The user enters in JDE 9.2 a purchase order. Quantity (3 decimals): 10.576, Total Cost/Price and Unit Cost/Price in this case are respectively 10,580.76 and 1,000.45.
  2. Decimals in JDE are 3 for quantities and generally 2 for amounts. Unit amounts may be even higher, 4 decimals as per observation.
  3. When a check is done on this order in PO APP for JDE version 6, it can be noticed that:
    1. In the list of orders, all the decimals are displayed correctly
    2. In the ORDER HEADER screen, all the decimals are displayed correctly
    3. In the DETAIL screen instead, only QUANTITY has decimals (3, correct), but UNIT PRICE and TOTALE PRICE have no decimals and are mathematically rounded to the higher or lower integer.
  4. Order Quantity is as per expectation, but UNIT PRICE is 10581 instead 10,580.76 and TOTAL is 1000 instead of 1,000.45.
  5. This happens for both DOMESTIC (in currency EUR) and FOREIGN Purchase Orders (in currency different from EUR).
