Symptoms

When running Interim Checks (P07210i) and Payroll and checking the FUTA tax credit, the credit reduction is not showing calculated correctly when there is an override in the (P079221) Unemployment Insurance Rate table. The credit reduction is not calculated on the Tax Detail History (F00136) nor on the (R078507) – 940 Annual Worksheet. If a value is input in the Unemployment Insurance (P079221) with a reduction, the value should be calculated correctly in the Tax Detail and in the 940.

Steps to Duplicate
1. Setup California (05) employee information (P0801)
2. Set up (P079221) Employee Insurance Rates / Rate = .054000 and Credit = .003000 for California (05)
3. Create Interim Check P07210i for regular pay, JDINTERIM, employee 285544. (Writes the F06136 History)
4. Merge the interim in payroll P07210. Writes the
5. Run payroll through Final Update.
6. Run the 940 (R078507) – 940 Annual Worksheet
    See Part 3, line 11 – No amount populated
    See Part – Worksheet / lines 3 & 4 – no credit calculated
    See Part – Schedule A / No Credit Reduction calculated
    Review the Tax History (P070920) to check values
