E1: 77Y: P0801 Employee Master Changes To Alpha Name and/or Mailing Name in P01012, Alias: GNNM, MDNM, and SRNM Are Not Updated in P01012 (Doc ID 2930487.1)

Symptoms

When making changes/corrections to Alpha Name and or Mailing Name in P01012 the Alias: GNNM (GIVEN), MDNM (MIDDLE), and SRNM (SURNAME) are not updated.

Steps:
1. From P0801 add a brand-new Canadian employee. Use format as Surname followed by a comma and space followed by Given Name and Middle Name in P01012.
2. From Form Exit go to Who’s Who (P0111). Notice the Alias: GNNM, MDNM, SRNM are automatically populated.
3. Manually change the Alpha Name and Mailing Name to House, Harry E. and save the change.
4. From P0801 review the employee after the change. Alpha Name shows the new name in P01012.
5. Go to Who’s Who, Notice Alias: GNNM, MDNM, SRNM did not change.
6. Now, change the Alpha Name from P01012 to Mickey, Mouse and save the change.
7. Again, from P0801 review the employee after the change. Alpha Name shows the new name in P01012.
8. Go to Who’s Who (P0111), Notice Alias: MLNM, GNNM, MDNM, SRNM did not change.
