E1: OCI: During Orchestration of One-Click Provisioning On-Prem Getting Message: Port Block Over Network (Doc ID 2931292.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Doing a One-Click install on-premise (Windows Oracle). During orchestration, where the individual components (database, Enterprise Server,WebServer...) are defined, these details are checked in the target when clicking Next. We receive a message Port block over network and that the port range 14502 - 14510 is not accessible via the network.

When checking the target system with a netstat -an, see that these ports were bound, but not to the IP address entered for the host in the DNS. Thus, the response is not transmitted to the source address and the error is displayed.

Each target host has three network cards and also three IP addresses.
