E1: 15: Recurring Billing Generation (R15100) - Add a Proration Method Based on 365 or 366 Days in a Year (Doc ID 2931315.1)

Last updated on MAY 03, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Real Estate Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

With the current functionality it is not possible to prorate the recurring billings based on the number of days in the period and year only.

The requirement is to add the ability to prorate changes based on a 365 or 366 day year, since the 365 or 366 day method is used in Canada and United Kingdom properties. The method would take the annual amount divided by 365 or 366 and then multiply the result by the number of days in the prorated month.
