E1: OCI: JAS : Unable To Login To E1 JAS Instance With "useOracleDBConnectionPool=true" Setting In jdbj.ini, Resulting In "Sign in Error: An Unknown JAS Sign in Error Occurred (Doc ID 2933732.1)

Symptoms

On a new JDE One-Click 9.2.6.x on-premise installation with Oracle 19c as database, when attempting to log in to the JAS instance with the "useOracleDBConnectionPool=true" value set in the JDE jdbj.ini setting, the JDE web client fails to authenticate the end user.  This issue occurs consistently when the "useOracleDBConnectionPool=true" value is set. However, the issue is not observed when the value is set to "false".

The user is presented with an on-screen error message as shown below.

 

 

In the e1root.log, you will see the below errors

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Upon successful One-Click on-premise Installation with Oracle 19c as database.
2. Attempt to Login to JAS Instance with a valid E1 user and password
3. Notice the above error denying the End user login
