E1: 34: MRP Planning Incorrect Transfer Order for P3403T Percent To Fill And AVLC=1 Used In Combination (R3483)
(Doc ID 2937019.1)
Last updated on APRIL 02, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When the branch relationship record is set to non-zero value, such as 100 percent, in combination with the availability check flag (AVLC=1) enabled, the supply plant quantity on hand, less than the percent to fill quantity, gets a planned transfer order for the partial percent to fill. The next run will suggest a cancel message for the firm order that is for less than the percent to fill and a net new planned order for the partial requirement.
Steps:
- Setup a P41026 multiple plant planning item with a P3403T branch relationship record with both a non-zero Percent to Fill and with a Availability check flag enabled, AVLC = 1.
- Create a demand quantity in the demand plant greater than the supply plant on hand, considering the percent to fill.
- Run Multi-plant planning R3483 and review P3411 detail messages and the P3413 time series.
- From P3411, firm the planned transfer order message and firm the planned OP supply message, and rerun R3483 MRP.
- Review P3413 Time Series and P3411 for incorrect planning or incorrect messages.
