E1: 42: 42i: Report Consumption Price Override Applies to All Consumed Lines - P42i03 (Doc ID 2938056.1)

Last updated on JULY 06, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Outbound Inventory Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When consuming several lines at Report Consumption (P42i03) and there is a Price Override on one line, as a result, the Price Override Table (F42i08) and subsequent Billings orders are generated with a price override flag = 1 for all lines. This is incorrect and the price override should only write for the one line with the price override.

Steps to Duplicate:
1. Enter several sales orders for OIM in P42101.
2. Ship confirm the orders (P4205).
3. Acknowledge the orders (P42i02).
4. Report Consumption (P42i03) for the item by selecting several lines, clicking full consumption.
5. On the last line or one of the lines clicked for full consumption, select the line.
    5a. Click Price Override tab.
    5b. Update the price.
6. Go back to the main screen and can see there are several lines showing full consumption checked and one line selected for full consumption with a green check mark.
7. Click Report Consumption gear at top of screen.
8. Check the F42i08 - OIM Price Override table and note all consumed records are written into the table. One is correct and shows the Price Override = 1 with the update price. All others are incorrectly written. The F42i03 - Report Consumption table also shows the price override flag = 1 but should only show on the one record overridden.
9. If Billing Orders are generated from the P42i03 via processing option flag or separately via Create Billing Orders (R42i20), they will write incorrectly with the Price Override Flag =1 in Sales Order Detail (F4211).
