(Doc ID 2938396.1)

Symptoms
Deleting a component item from Bill of Materials fails with the Batch Quantity processing option on the P3002 application set to blank (= The system does not display the Batch Quantity Field). The component initially appears to be delete successfully. There is no error and the record no longer shows in the item list. The item reappears, however, after existing and re-opening the application.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- P3002 - Create a BOM for a parent item, define a non-zero Batch Quantity and add few components; Save the BOM.
- Databrowser - Inquire on the F3002 table and check the BOM records.
- IV: Define the P3002 version to use the processing option # 2. Batch Quantity in the Display tab set to blank = The system does not display Batch Quantity field.
- P3002 - Open the previous P3002 version; search for the previous BOM.
- P3002 - Inquire on the BOM and see that the Batch Quantity and the Unit of Measure fields in the header of the BOM are not visible anymore.
- P3002 - Select a BOM record and hit Delete button. The system triggers a pop-up message 'Are you sure that you want to delete the selected item?'. Save the changes. Upon confirming the transactional message, notice that the "deleted" record is not visible anymore in the screen.
- P3002 - Exit the application.
- P3002 - Re-inquire on the previous BOM and notice the "deleted" record has not been removed.
- F3002 – The BOM records have not been changed.
