Last updated on MARCH 31, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There are multiple enterprise servers for an environment being upgraded to 9.2 from an older release. The multiple enterprise servers have been defined in P9654A 'Work with Locations and Machines' Application.

A traditional upgrade plan is created using 'P98240 OneWorld Installation Director' and while selecting the servers, after selecting the first enterprise server, user is unable to the select the next enterprise server.

On the first 'Information prompt', there is a option to either define a new server with 'OK' button or to select a new server with the 'Select' button.

The 'Select' button is clicked and one of the existing enterprise servers is chosen and process moves forward.

After defining the datasources, either manually or using defaults when proceeding next

The 'Additions prompt' screen appears to add another enterprise server and there are two options
1) 'Yes' to define an additional enterprise server
2) 'No' to continue with the process

Clicking on Yes will take to the option of defining a new server and not select an existing enterprise server

Steps

  1. Prepare a setup with multiple enterprise servers for an environment
  2. Create the upgrade plan as per steps mentioned in 'Running the Installation Planner for an Upgrade'
