E1: 13: When P051127 (ESS Time Entry) Has A Subledger Type W Record It Erroneously Loads The Eqmt Worked Field (Doc ID 2939103.1)

Last updated on APRIL 03, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Employee Self-Service - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On the P051127 Employee Self-Service (ESS) Time Entry application, when inputting a Subledger Type = W and the work order in the Subledger field (where the work order has an equipment number on it), the P051127 (ESS Time Entry) populates both the Equipment Worked On and Equipment Worked fields.

Steps to Duplicate:
1. Input a P1701 / P1702 (Equipment Entry) record.
2. Input a P48201 / P17714 (Work Order Entry) with the equipment number from step 1.
3. On P051123 (ESS Time Entry Setup), ensure Equipment Worked On is checked.
4. On P051125 (Time Entry Self Service Director) select Daily Time Entry
5. On P051127 (Employee Daily Time Entry) in the account number field input \WO#. where WO# is the work order number from step 2, and tab down.
6. See both the Equipment Worked On and the Equipment Worked field is populated with the equipment number from the work order.  The Equipment Worked field should not be populated because when the Equipment Worked field is populated, the system creates a T5 record during payroll journal processing.
