Symptoms

When creating an SO order with W line type using the P42101 (Sales Order Entry), R31410 (Order Processing) is not started, while when doing the same using the P4210 (Sales Order Entry), using the same versions, R31410 is started.

Steps

  1. In item master and item branch create a manufactured item with W line type. (P4101 P41026).
  2. Create a BOM and routing fot the parent manufactured item (P3002 P3003).
  3. Create new version of P48013 to call automatically attach PL and routing (PO 6. Create Parts List and Routing = 1). Set that version in a P4210 version. Set that version in P43101 that is going to be used for the test.
  4. Go to P42101 and enter a new SO for the manufactured item. Save it.
  5. In P48013 check that the related WO was created. Take the row exit and notice the PL and routing are not attached.

Extra test: perform the same test with the version of P4210 directly. Notice the PL and routing are attached.
