E1: 31: Enhancement Request For Work Order Parts List (P3111) To Attach the Routing Also When Manually Entering the Parts List and Also When Using the Copy From WO Function (Doc ID 2941507.1)

Last updated on APRIL 11, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, Work Order Parts List P3111 is only attaching the routing from F3003 only if there is a Bill of materials set up in F3002 for the parent item (using the copy BOM function). The processing option in P3111 must be set in tab [Process] 1. Routings = 1.

Asking for P3111 to attach the routing also when manually entering the parts list. Or when using the copy from WO function.

The behavior can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. P4101/P41026 Create a manufactured item and one purchased item.
  2. P3003 create a routing for the manufactured item
  3. Set the Processing Options in the versions so that P3111 will attach the routing
  4. P48013 create one WO for the manufactured item
  5. Select the WO and row exit to Parts List (P3111). Manually add the purchased item created at step 1.
  6. Select the WO and row exit to Routing (P3112). Check the routing and notice it is not attached.

Test 2

  1. P3002 add the purchased item on the BOM of the manufactured item.
  2. In P48013, take the row exit to parts list. P3111 form exit to Copy BOM. Save the parts.
  3. P48013 row exit to routing. P3112 notice the routing is attached.
