Symptoms

Getting errors while trying to change the component\Tools Release of the Deployment Server. The following message is seen on screen:

Unable to change the tools release of the deployment server instance <instance name> to software component.
an exception was thrown during the process : could not install the deployment server service correctly.
This might be the result of missing Microsoft Visual Studio runtime DLLs on your system.
