Symptoms

When copy/pasting the excel content from Microsoft Team's Excel or from Excel 365 on web, additional formatting data is also pasted into the media object viewer/editor as shown below. This does not happen when copy/pasting from the excel application running on desktop.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Login to E1 web client
  2. Access P01012 from fastpath, click Find, Select a record and access Attachments row exit
  3. Try adding a new text attachment
  4. In the editor, copy and paste contents from Microsoft Team's Excel or from Excel 365 on web
