E1: CAF1: P012503X (Work Center - Analytic Component) Application is Not Respecting the User Preference Date Format or Date Separator Character Setup Under P0092 (User Profile Revisions) (Doc ID 2946368.1)

Last updated on MAY 09, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When setting up the cafeone work center application functionality using P012503X (Work Center - Analytic Component), it is observed that P012503X is not respecting the user preference date format setup in P0092 (User Profile Revisions). For example, if Date Format is setup as DMY (Day, Month, Year (DDMMYY)) under user profile, in normal E1 applications, the date is displayed as 28/02/23 but in P012503X it is displayed as 2-27-2023 (M-DD-YYYY format). Same is the case with Date Separator Character as well.

Note: The difference in the date value displayed (27 instead of 28 in the above image) in P012503X is a different issue as documented in: Doc ID 2932331.1 - E1: CAF1: The Date Displayed in P012503X is One Day Before the Actual Work Center Message Date

Steps to replicate:

  1. As an admin user, setup the date format as DMY (Day, Month, Year (DDMMYY)) for a user using P0092
  2. Login to web client using the above setup user ID
  3. Open P0911 using fastpath and click ADD. Note Batch Number
        Populate:
            Explanation= Test

            Grid data in 2 Rows:
            Account Number    Amount
            1.1110.BEAR        .01
            #1.1110.BEARZ    .01-

        Click Save. Press Cancel
  4.  Open P0011 using fastpath. Find Batch Number noted in step 3
  5.  Go to Row > Batch Approval > Select Approved button, Save
  6.  Go to Row > Post by Batch
  7.  For the same batch number review the details in the delivered cafeone layout (Batch Journal Review) - P012503X displays the date in (M-DD-YYYY) format irrespective of the setup in P0092
