Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When User B goes into the case that User A is updating, it should display that User A has the record reserved and not User B. In addition, When user B closes out of the case that is reserved by user A it should not delete the record reservation in the F00095.  Currently, the system is deleting the Record Reservation when User B exits the application.

The following are the steps to duplicate the issue with the P90CG501.

  1. User A uses the P90CG501 to update case 123.  A record reservation is created and populated in the F00095.
  2. User B uses the P90CG501 to update the same case (123).
  3. User B receives a record reserves message.  The message displays that user B has the record locked even though User A is the one who   has the record lock.
  4. User B closed out and the record reservation is incorrect deleted from the F00095.
  5. User B goes back into case 123 and now is able to update the record and save the changes.
  6. User A has not closed out while User B makes changes to case 123.  User A save their changes and overwrites what User B has updated.
